This isn’t Maserati’s first brand extension into bicycles, but it does appear to be their most aggressive and extensive. And it’s no surprise that it’s motorized, considering the brand’s heritage. Consisting of a massive range of road, mountain, commuter, and city bikes, the new Maserati e-Bike lineup has something for everyone.
The bikes are designed in conjunction with Diavelo, an e-bike design consultant group owned by Accell Group, which owns such brands as Raleigh, Lapierre, Ghost and others. Diavelo’s stated goal is to assist bicycle and automotive brands in developing e-bikes, so here we are.
Perhaps the raciest looking model is the MC Edizione Limitata road bike shown above and below, which will come in Maserati’s signature blue.
The bikes will use various motor systems, including Bosch, Bafang and Fazua, depending on the model and how integrated or powerful it needs to be.
Considering the shared resources coming from Accell, we’re hoping the bikes will be more than generic models rebadged. You can check out the full catalog on their website, which is currently only a downloadable PDF, which includes e-Scooters…
