Since their success with the Volta city bike, Pure Cycles has announced the all-new Capacita utility bike. It’s a well-equipped e-bike built to carry everything you may need throughout the day, while still maintaining a clean design. In addition to offering plenty of cargo room, the Capacita features a variety of smart capabilities that can track, lock and illuminate the bike.
Frame details
The Capacita is built on an aluminum frame with integrated front and rear racks that can hold 175lbs. Its lights are built into these rack tubes and activate automatically when ambient light decreases. Removable foot platforms are available for rear riders. Additionally, the tracking unit is discreetly hidden from any scumbags that may have the idea to steal the bike and the location is accessed through their mobile app. Adding further security is a rear wheel lock that engages remotely via the app.

Getting Juiced
The Capacita’s removable Samsung battery works with a 350W Bafang rear hub motor to provide assistance up to 20mph. The duo will go up to 40 miles on a single charge. Pure Cycles launched their new offering today on Indigog and has it available for more than 40% off retail to those pledging $1,400+. Also, it’s expected to ship in early 2019.
